Buildings Accessibility

The College has introduced a number of adaptations to it's buildings in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (2001). This has made it more accessible for all students.
The college is also undergoing a major redevelopment program, The Hereford Learning Village which will be built to comply with all Disability Discrimination guidelines.

Hereford Campus

  • The Technology Centre, Business Centre and LRC contain a wide range of facilities including lifts to all floors, wide corridors and electrical opening doors.
  • The Community Studies Centre has a dedicated lift to the first floor only.
  • Disabled Parking Spaces - 5
  • Block B has automatic slide door access.
  • All buildings have accessibility via ramp.
  • Disabled Lift available in B Block
  • Hearing Loop – Available in Reception and Designated Classrooms
  • The main outside pathways are all DDA Compliant
  • Disabled Toilets available in all Blocks

Holme Lacy Campus

  • Disabled Parking Spaces - 3
  • Automatic and/or assisted doors to main teaching block, Orchard Block and Wilsley House
  • Disabled Toilets in Equine Yard, Main Teaching Block, Pound Farm yard, Wilsley House, Rivers Block (also disabled shower)
  • Hearing Loop – Available in Reception and Resource Centre + 1 portable

Rural Crafts Centre – Holme Lacy

  • Disabled Parking Spaces - 2
  • This building also has a ramp to its entrance with sliding doors.
  • Disabled Lift available for access to lower floor area.
  • Disabled Toilet available in all blocks.

Station Approach

  • Ground Floor Unit with ramp access.
  • Disabled Toilet Available.
