Hereford Campus

The planned development

Herefordshire College of Technology has almost completed its new £32 million campus development project, set to transform post-16 education and vocational learning in Herefordshire and provide state-of-the-art education and training facilities fit for the 21st Century. The superb new facilities will now match the existing high standard of teaching.

The striking new campus is home to:

  • An impressive Learning Resources Centre, which spans two levels and includes working areas fully equipped with personal computers, over 20,000 books, periodicals, daily papers and study rooms – epitomising a truly modern learning facility.
  • The Business Centre, offering a suite of seminar rooms and Information Technology facilities, for use by local businesses.
  • The Technology Centre, providing modern engineering and construction workshops for courses including mechanical and electrical engineering, motor vehicle, brickwork, furniture making, plumbing, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery as well as superb sound technology and recording studios.
  • The Community Studies Centre, comprising a large, modern teaching building that houses new training kitchens, a restaurant, 'Eden' - hair, beauty and complimentary therapy salons and fully equipped teaching rooms.

Herefordshire College of Technology staff and students would like to thank our funding partners – the Learning and Skills Council, Government Office for the West Midlands, and Advantage West Midlands – for helping us to realise our dreams.  We are also grateful to Herefordshire Council for their support and development funding.
