Holme Lacy Campus
The Holme Lacy campus and estate provides specialist training facilities and is situated in the Wye Valley, bordering the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The estate comprises a mixed organic farm, which has its own pedigree herd of Hereford cattle, commercial woodlands, ancient woodlands, traditional parkland, ponds and streams.
The facilities include:
- Rural Crafts Centre, housing first class facilities for our Blacksmithing, Farriery and Welding courses.
- Equestrian Centre with outdoor arena and 600 acres of off-road hacking
- Animal Care Centre
- Timber Yard
- Specialist Workshops
- IT Suite
- Learning Resource Centre.
On this campus the College has established a series of Outdoor Pursuit programmes and a Sports Academy. In close proximity to the mountains of Central and North Wales, the Holme Lacy campus is ideally situated for outdoor recreation. Students are able to make full use of the 257 hectares, owned by the College, for a wide variety of action-packed mountain and water activities.
