Beauty Therapy Level 3 Diploma
Having successfully completed a Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Complementary Therapies you can continue to develop your skills and knowledge with the Beauty Therapy Level 3 course. This course is highly recommended and recognised within the Industry. Employment opportunities are endless and are not just limited to the UK. You could choose to work in a salon, health spa, cruise liner, hotel, sales and distribution, teaching, managerial position or salon ownership.

Areas of study include 2 different routes:
General route:
- Monitor procedures to safely control operations
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
- Epilate the hair follicle using diathermy, galvanic and blend techniques
- Provide head and body massage treatments
- Improve body condition using electro-therapy
- Improve face and skin condition using electro-therapy
- Plus 2 optional units
Massage route:
- Monitor procedures to safely control operations
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
- Provide body massage
- Provide Indian Head Massage
- Carry out massage using preblended massage oils
- Provide stone therapy treatments
- Plus 2 optional units
Functional skills
All full-time learners will be required to study Functional Skills at the appropriate level. These will be in maths, English and in some cases ICT. Attendance to these sessions is mandatory, please refer to the Functional Skills section of this website.
