Course Content
This course provides a highly rated qualification covering a wide range of practical HRD skills. It provides high quality learning and development by offering a structured and tailored approach to the relevant issues. The course is designed for the aspiring or practising personnel practitioner to develop and refine the knowledge and skills needed to conduct personnel practices within an organisation.
The course is run along side the Diploma in Human Resource Practice and you will complete the core units.
- Recording, analysing & using HR information
- Understanding organisations and the role of HRD
- Developing yourself as an effective HRD practitioner
- Supporting good practice in managing employment relations
- Delivering learning and development activities
- Developing Coaching & Mentoring skills for the workplace
Entry Requirements
Potential candidates should apply on the relevant Application Form. A short telephone interview will follow to ensure suitability of course. A written offer of a Course place may then follow
Assessment Methods
Assessment will be a combination of assignments, class activities, group work and presentations.
Progression Route
The progression would be to the C.I.P.D. Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management at HCT or the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership

Study Mode: Part Time
Attendance: Usually Thursdays from 18.00 to 21.00 over 36 weeks (12 months). A daytime course may be offered subject to demand from 9.30 to 12.30. The coaching and mentoring units are run on Thursday afternoons 14.30 – 17.30
Course Costs: £1069.00, which includes awarding body registration fee.
