Introduction to Plumbing

Course Content

This 10 week course will enable the participant to be able to tackle small plumbing tasks around the home such as:

  • Replacing & installing new radiators, valves and general radiator maintenance.
  • Fitting & moving sanitary equipment.
  • Fixing dripping taps & ball valves
  • Electric, power system showers, shower cubicles, trays and taps.
  • Discussion and exploration of any current plumbing issues you may have

Entry Requirements

You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to attend the programme, a willingness to study theoretical and practical components of the programme. No formal entry requirements although an interest or a project in mind for you to use your new found skills would be required to get the most from this hands-on course.

  • Protected footwear
  • Overalls
  • Pencil, ruler and paper
