Course Content

This short course is designed to introduce you to the basic skills needed to set up and use a database.  Using the Windows operating system and Microsoft Access 2007 + Excel 2007 this course explains how to:

  • Launch the program
  • Design a simple database
  • Enter records
  • Amend the database
  • Search the database against given criteria
  • Print results of searches
  • Use simple formulae to perform calculations
  • Create charts from data

Entry Requirements

It would be an advantage if you are able to use a mouse but not essential.

Should you have a project or something in mind to use your new found skills in MS Access or Excel then this course is ideal.
