Introduction to Welding
Course Content
This course is designed to introduce you to welding and encourage you to work at your own pace. You will be introduced to:
- Gas
- Arc
- Mig
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Produce welded joints in Metal inert Gas shielded welding (M.I.G.) to BS4872 Standard
- Produce welded joints in Manual Metal Arc Welding (M.M.A) to BS4872 Standard
- Identify weld defects in welded joints

Materials
- Suitable boots
- Hardwearing clothes
- Earplugs or defenders are also recommended
