Course Content
This short course is designed to introduce you to using a digital compact camera. Down loading pictures to a computer and using simple free software to edit your photographs and print out pictures.
The course covers:
- Digital camera terminology
- Creating folders and file management
- Downloading pictures
- Renaming picture files
- Deleting picture files
- Moving files and folders
- Using simple Photo editing software to perform simple editing tasks
- Printing out pictures
- Backing up pictures
Entry Requirements
This is not a course to be undertaken by someone who does not have any computer skills. You must be able to use a mouse and have some knowledge of computer filing.
Materials
- A notepad and pen
- Your own camera and USB lead if you have one
You do not need a camera, all equipment will be supplied but bring your own if you have one. But please don’t buy one just before the course.
