Creative Crafts
Herefordshire College of Technology offers a wide range of Creative Craft courses. Students have the opportunity to display their work at our annual Creative Crafts Exhibition (normally held in July) which is the pinnacle of the year and attracts many visitors, both those related to the Industry and members of the general public. The courses are practical in nature with students producing a portfolio of samples and assessment pieces for moderation by City & Guilds (CG).Assessment takes place throughout the course and there is no final examination, giving students the maximum opportunity to show their creative skills. Qualifications are graded at pass, merit and distinction.
These courses are newly validated this year and we offer two schemes at level 2 and 3. The CG 7112 and 7113 replace the old CG 7822, 7922 and 7293 scheme. All schemes are 2 year courses. The course tutor will provide advice and guidance on the level of entry.

- Embroidery
- Machine Embroidery
All courses and levels include mandatory units in design, employability and professional practice.
