Learn French - Foundation
Course Content
This course is for the near-beginner who wishes to develop further basic skills in the chosen language and to make progress with learning a new language. The emphasis is on spoken language and on developing sufficient skills to be able to speak more confidently in a range of simple everyday situations, through the use of dialogue, role-play and pair work exercises. Nevertheless, reading, writing and listening skills will also be improved.
During these courses basic essential grammatical constructions will be introduced and the range of vocabulary in the target language will be significantly increased.
A recommended course book will be used as a background to the course and optional homework will be set after each class.
Entry Requirements
Those joining these courses will typically have previously attended a Taster course or equivalent. No formal entry requirements are required.
