Learn French - Improvers

Course Content

This course is for the student who has acquired the basics of the language, who has gained confidence through recent practice and who wishes to develop further skills in the chosen language. The emphasis is on spoken language and on improving skills to be able to extend the student’s confidence in a range of everyday situations, through the use of dialogue, role-play and pair work exercises. Nevertheless, reading, writing and listening skills will also be improved.

During these courses essential grammatical constructions will be covered and the range of vocabulary in the target language will be built up.

A recommended course book will be used as a background to the course and optional homework will be set after each class

Entry Requirements

Those joining these courses will typically have previously attended a Foundation course or equivalent. No formal entry requirements are required.
