Languages
The Language Centre at HCT offers a wide range of courses, designed to suit different learning needs, at levels from beginner to advanced. Although these courses are not certificated by an awarding body you will receive a certificate of attendance from Herefordshire College of Technology.
Currently, courses are offered in the following languages:
French, Spanish, Italian, German and Polish
We have an excellent team of tutors who are fully qualified teachers and some of whom are native speakers of the target language.

Non English language courses are organised as follows:
| Taster | For complete beginners with no prior knowledge of the target language. Courses usually start in September, January and April. |

| Foundation | For those who have completed the taster course or who have any prior, but limited, knowledge of the target language. Courses usually start in September, January and April. |
| Improvers | This course is for the student who has acquired the basics of the language, who has gained confidence through recent practice and who wishes to develop further skills in the chosen language. Usually start September, January and April. |
| Intermediate | This level is for students who have acquired the ability to communicate fairly confidently in simple everyday language and who wish to further extend their competence by using their speaking and reading skills in particular in a wide range of situations. Usually start September, January and April. |

Applications
Students wishing to reserve a place an any of the above courses should contact the Admissions Office at the HCT, Hereford campus on 0800 032 1986. You will then be sent a pack containing an application form and details of your course or you can pay over the phone with a debit/credit card.
Your place on the course will only be confirmed once the fees have been paid.
Enrolment for all the above courses will take place during the first class.
