Introduction to Digital Imaging
Course Content
- This short course is designed to introduce you to the basic skills needed to begin the journey into using a digital camera, downloading images, editing and printing.
- Functions of a digital camera
- Memory cards (different types) and card readers etc
- Connecting to a computer
- Transferring images and burning to a CD
- Using basic image editing software
- Printing
- Scanning and repairing old photos
- Using different types of software (i.e. Paint Shop Pro)
- Creating multiple layer images
Entry Requirements
Previous computer experience is preferred. You should not be a beginner with computers to attend this course.
