Complete Intermediate Digital Photography Course

Course Content

This course is for students with some experience of digital photography and the course aim is to provide students with a complete intermediate education in that subject.  The four field trips are key to student learning and development and students will be requested to complete simple course assignments. The tutor has spent 23 years of his career in professional photography and has general advanced photographic qualifications as well as the City and Guilds 7407 teaching certificate and Certificate of Education.

Topics will include:
How to “see” photography, camera and camera technique, image enhancement, how to use light in digital photography, viewpoint and composition, landscape and architectural, portrait and group photography and close up photography all at an Intermediate level.

Entry Requirements

The course develops what was achieved in the basic photography course although it is not a prerequisite to have done the basic course first as many students have completed this course without having done the basic one.

  • A4 notepad, pencil and pens 
  • Camera
  • Instruction manuals
  • Digital Images as and when requested

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Course Costs: £35 - There may well be additional entry costs for field trip venues in addition to the course fee, these will most likely be payable on the door.
