Food HygieneThe Food Safety Act of 1990 provides the framework for all food legislation in Great Britain and in January 2006 new legislation relating to food hygiene was introduced which affects all food businesses including caterers, primary producers and retailers.

It is therefore crucial that staff involved with food handling have a complete understanding of all of the relevant safety and hygiene issues.
