HCT graduation great success
Congratulations to all those who graduated on Wednesday 11th July 2006.
Over 80 students processed through Hereford Cathedral on this beautiful day as they celebrated their achievement with family and friends. The atmosphere in the Cathedral was fantastic as over 200 guests arrived and settled down for the Ceremony to commence.
Led by Principal and Chief Executive Ian Peake and Guest of Honour Professor Judith Elkin, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Worcester, the students took their seats before being called to receive their scrolls and announced as Graduates. After the Ceremony, a pianist played until early evening at Kate Square, LeftBank Village. To complete the day a Graduation Ball was held at the Three Counties Hotel, where many partied late into the evening.
Ian Peake commented, “ This is a tremendous celebration, one of the outstanding highlights of HCT’s academic year. Our higher education students have done really well, thanks to their hard work, the commitment and expertise of their tutors and the support of their families, friends and employers”.
