Aconbury Centre gets taste for College life
A group of students and two of their teachers from the Aconbury Centre in Hereford came to Herefordshire College of Technology for a taste of college life this month. After a chocolate and ice cream making demonstration by Les Brown, Catering Tutor at HCT, the potential students sampled the confectionery. A tour of the Cider Orchard Restaurant and kitchens was also on the menu.
The students, aged between 12 and 14 years, were able to get a taste for the catering courses on offer at HCT and also a better idea of career opportunities available within the Industry.
"HCT is very proud of the Catering department" said Les "We are happy to show off our skills and facilities to potential students."
