Football Academy student Adam, is Welsh Premier League's man of the moment!
Adam Worton is yet another prominent player to emerge from the Holme Lacy Campus Football Academy, part of Herefordshire College of Technology. He's certainly the Welsh Premier League's man of the moment having been voted 'Player of the Week' as well as being nominated for the league's 'Player of the Month'. Adam signed Welsh Premier forms with Caersws in the summer of 2006, before being one of Darren Ryan’s first signings for Newtown in November of that year.
Whilst studying for the National Diploma in Sports Performance and Excellence (from 2004 – 2006) with the College, Adam played for the Hereford United Youth Team (which is the College Youth Team) as well as the Reserve team. Adam also achieved his Level 2 Certificate in Football Coaching Skills and now coaches as part of his role working at the Knighton Leisure Centre.
