Residential Trip to the Peak District
Year 1 Outdoor Education students from the National Diploma course enjoyed a memorable 5 days camping in the Peak District for their annual end of year trip.
These are just a few of the activities the students were involved in:-
- Taking a trip to see the aircraft crash sites up on Bleaklow on the High Peak.
- Climbing at Burbage North
- Canoeing on the River Derwent
- Human chain in Peak bog to retrieve walking boot in wet weather (not on agenda but good fun and outdoor skills put to test!)
