Health Education Day is a Great Success
Herefordshire College of Technology held a Health Education Day in the Events Hall on 26th November. The event was a great success with over 250 students (over 15 tutor groups) participating. Over 10 external agencies were present including, Drugs and Alcohol - ZigZag and Bottletop, Sexual Health - Goal Street Outreach team, Healthy Eating - ASDA Kindle Centre, Stop Smoking - Smoking Cessation, Mental Health – Cahms, Counselling – CLD, Road Safety - Police / Fire Service and the Dental Services. The agencies that attended commented on how pleased they were with the level of interaction from the students and some of the great questions and issues raised.
