Students Rise and Trot to the Occasion!
Riding for the Disabled are celebrating 40 years of delivering opportunities, therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities. Founded as a national organisation in 1969, RDA now has 500 member groups across the UK with the Herefordshire group based at the College's Holme Lacy campus. Launching the special anniversary with a nationwide event, entitled ‘The Worlds Biggest Riding Lesson’, non-stop riding lessons took place from 10am – 8pm on Wednesday 30th of September.
Six Herefordshire College of Technology equine students joined in the fun with a lesson in the indoor schooling ring at the College’s Holme Lacy campus.
