Creative Crafts Exhibition 2010
Herefordshire College of Technology presented the annual Creative Crafts Exhibition on 29th June & 30th June. Held at the Hereford Campus, Folly Lane, the exhibition takes place in the College’s new events suite and provided a large and stunning show for all who visited.
Opening the preview on 28th June, Ian Peake, Principal of HCT, welcomed many guests including The Right Worshipful, The Mayor of Hereford Councillor Anna Toon and her Consort Mr David Toon.
This event showcases the outstanding work produced by students studying a range of courses including Furniture Making, Blacksmithing, Patchwork & Quilting, Passementerie, Soft Furnishings, Embroidery, Fashion and Millinery plus Painting and Pottery (courtesy of Herefordshire Headway).
Ian Peake thanked staff and students saying “they should be very proud of their work.” He extended thanks to The Hereford Journal, ABC Print and Signs & Labels for sponsoring this very special event.
