Generous Donations to Greenhouse Project
The service users at the Ryefield Centre, who are studying for an Asdan Personal Progress Award in Horticulture run by Herefordshire College of Technology, are thrilled with recent donations after the Ross Gazette featured a story requesting donations for greenhouse glass.
Following the article the project has been given 5 contributions including another smaller greenhouse for students to renovate and a cash donation from an anonymous giver. It is hoped that once the greenhouse is completed, the students can grow fruit and vegetables for the children’s centre and to sell it to the recently opened Café 13.
Group tutor, Andrew Keir would like to extend his thanks for the generous donations from local contributors and to the Ross Gazette for their help in raising awareness.
