Magic Moment for 'Majiq' Young Enterprise Team
HCT’s Level 3, Advanced Diploma in Business students have had great success in the first round of the Herefordshire region stage of the international Young Enterprise competition. The team took second with their invention of the ‘Majiq’ shirt roller which is designed to reduce creases during travel and will go through to the Hereford and Worcester final next month.
The win follows a successful product launch at the Hereford clothing store ‘FIT’ that saw an excellent gathering of local support for the young entrepreneurs. Tutor Elyot Chambers commented, “They have all shown great enthusiasm this year, the way that they have networked with local businesses such as Pritchards and FIT has been really fantastic. FIT’s Managing Director, Luke Conod, has been extremely positive about the project and the store is now stocking the team’s product.”
The team are also thankful to their external business advisor, Rebecca White from Andrew Morris Estate Agents, who has advised them throughout the process.
