Show Jumping Event Great Success
Equine students from the Holme Lacy Campus were thrilled with the turn out for their recent Spring Show Jumping Event. Sponsored by Tesco and Ryeford Rosettes, the event attracted over 100 visitors including 40 competitors for the clear round and 25 competitors for the 2’3” and 2’6” competitions.
Sports and Equine Team Leader, Claire Lovell commended the hard work of equine students who organised the event and the staff that gave their time on the day. “I’m very proud of how the event went and the Equine Centre’s recent success with their BHS inspection. Staff worked closely in collaboration with the Riding for the Disabled Association, who also had their own round in the event. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and especially to our sponsors; Tesco for their donation of chocolate eggs and Ryeford Rosettes for their beautiful rosettes. ”
