Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!

ND Animal Management students at WestonSea, sand but very little sun, was the order of the day for Herefordshire College of Technology National Diploma in Animal Management students.

The Holme Lacy campus students spent the day beach-combing at Weston-Super-Mare’s sandy beach. The outing was organised by student, Chloe Shurmer, as part of her Investigative Project module.

On the day, Rachel Bailey from the Marine Conservation Society based in Ross-on Wye treated the students to a lecture on the variety of wildlife in British waters and marine conservation. Despite the overcast weather, all the staff and students had a thoroughly enjoyable day but were disappointed by the amount of litter and rubbish that they found during the expedition.
