New York, New York!
HCT's Travel and Tourism National Diploma students had a fantastic time during a recent visit to New York City.
Their 5 day trip to the Big Apple began with a flight from London's Heathrow. They travelled with Virgin Atlantic and had the good fortune to meet Celebrity Big Brother star, Stephen Baldwin, who happily agreed to pose for photographs with them.
The students stayed in Bed and Breakfast accommodation and during their stay visited the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street and Ground Zero. They also took a horse and carriage ride around Central Park and watched the famous 'Knicks' basketball team lose against the Sacremento Kings!
The students enjoyed the various shopping opportunities and even the magical snow blizzard that greeted them one day. A thoroughly good time was had by all!
