Careers Advice and Guidance Service
Herefordshire College of Technology (HCT) is committed to providing a service of advice and guidance to current and prospective students concerning their choice of course or career path, application to higher education, and search to gain employment.
We can provide assistance with the following:
- Preparing and updating CVs
- Completing job applications
- Interviewing techniques
- Course selection
- UCAS applications and personal statements
- General careers guidance.
We also maintain Careers Libraries in both the Hereford and Holme Lacy campus LRCs. These consist of information about a wide range of subject areas and career opportunities as well as college and university prospectuses and books to help you with your job search. There is also a good selection of periodicals concerning the study disciplines available at the college.
An impartial and confidential, one-to-one interview can be arranged by appointment to help you determine your specific needs and goals and explore appropriate options to meet them.
