Enrichment at HCT

Enrichment at HCT aims to strengthen the College community by bringing together staff and students with the primary aim of enjoying a diverse range of recreational activities. Enrichment is intended as a break from academic study and an opportunity to participate in organised activities where you are able to meet other students.

Students at HCT have access to a number of enrichment activities. Alongside careers presentations, there are sessions on applying for higher education, drug and alcohol awareness, presentations by the Police force, Army, Navy and Royal Marines, plus ‘bite size’ introductions to sports and languages, fact-finding trips around the City, health advice and recreational trips including bowling competitions, skiing and fashion shows!

The College consider this to be an important part of the college experience and the programme is now managed by Student Youth Worker & Sports Co-ordinator, Huw Pritchard-

"As the student Youth Worker I will be there to encourage and support the development of not only the activities programme but also social, cultural and recreational events i.e. music, arts, competitions, football club, weekends away.

Look out for exciting activities and opportunities for you to participate in to enhance your college experience!"
