Emergency Contraception
Emergency contraception can be accessed from the Gaol Street Clinic in Hereford and they are free from most pharmacies.

Student Information Service (SIS)
SIS is staffed by fully qualified youth workers and they are open from 12.00 – 2.30p.m. each weekday. At the Hereford campus they are based in the green hut next to the sports field and at Holme Lacy they are based on the first floor of the Bower House. Appointments can be made although students are encouraged to drop-in.

Condoms
Free condoms are issued by SIS 12.00 – 2.30p.m. A twenty minute induction chat explains the safe use of condoms and learners are issued with a C Card permitting them to access condoms from SIS and other outlets in Hereford.
Pregnancy Testing
Free tests are available through SIS. A urine sample is required and options are discussed. Learners are referred to the Gaol Street Clinic in Hereford or their GP.
Chlamydia Testing
Chlamydia tests are free through SIS. A urine sample is required and SIS will post to BClear who return the results to learners. Learners with symptoms are referred to the Gaol Street Clinic in Hereford. Nurses also visit HCT for pre-arranged sessions.
Dental Dams
If you are a lesbian or bisexual woman, dental dams are available at the Gaol Street Clinic, Hereford.
Hereford’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender students
A themed community club night is held on the first Saturday of each month at the Black Lion in Bridge Street, Hereford. The Rainbow Forum discusses gay community issues on the last Thursday of each month at 6.00p.m. at the Courtyard, Hereford.
College Chaplaincy
